This is one of the most beautiful episode I've ever seen. The people complaining about the lack of fight scene: there you go, it was short, but damn, it was impactful. Everything from start to finish was so sight to behold

The only reason why he was suicidal was cause he literally would do anything in season 1 cause his pops the person he was close with was brutally murdered, that would change anyone so he decided to take revenge meaning kill the murderer but in order to do that he had to get stronger which unfortunately in the world that he lives in kill people in order to then eventually kill his suspect. He did have chances to kill the guy but as explained in the first episode his family.y of vikings don't fight that way cause they believe in fair fighting but Thorrington unfortunately whenever he had the chance was too weak or his suspect was injured due to being in battle. Also the king ended up killing thorfins suspect whys that cause, he needed to grow as a character cause he knew that thorfin will not recover or grow especially since the only reason he lived was to kill someone that's not right. In season 2 it's focusing on him recovering and realising 2hat he did is wrong and the way of vikings is wrong hence why we have a innocent person next to him,also having ptsd cause he killed ALOT of innocent people which we saw that woman that he used as bate in his dream coz he feels guilty and maybe ashamed that he put people through that in order to get what he wanted this is all apart of him growing. I don't think u understand the story very much
